move cursor in timeline using arrow keys
when the cursor is over a timeline, hitting the right arrow key should take me to the next item in that timeline and show the corrsponding screenshot. This would be far more accurate than the current hovering using the mouse, which frankly is giving me shoulder pain at the moment.

Allow for "OR" Tag filters in Timesheet
According to the KB article about Filtering Timesheets (http://support.manictime.com/knowledgebase/articles/686265-filter-timesheet) RegEx is supported, but when I tried to combine two separate tags into the filter (like "or"), it didn't work as expected.
For example: I want to include in the same timesheet, entries from two separate tag groups. For instance, "Client, Project 1" and "Overhead, Task 1"
If I only wanted to show the "Client, Project 1", I can do this filter:
//
"Project 1"
//
let's say 5 entries are returned.if I do:
//
"Task 1"
//
let's say 2 entries are returned.If I want to…

Allow mid-tag text filtering in add tag window (not just tag picker)
I have a tag 1:
Client1: Project A
Client1: new Project B
Client3: Cool project Cand so on.
However, there are so many projects for that client that they exceed the number displayed in the drop down in the add-tag window. Instead of having to type Client1:C to get Client1:Cool Project C, I'd like to be able to type Cool and have it show anything that contains cool.
This would match how the tag picker currently wroks.
4 votesI think it does work this way. I mean if you type Cool it should find the tags which include this word.

Setting for tabgs to be billabel by default
I add new tags frequently, but often forget to mark them as billable, which for me is more common (and hopefully for most of us). It would be great if there was a setting to make them billable by default, then I'd just have to remember to mark the ones that aren't.

Deleteable filter dropdown history
Currently the search/ history filter dropdown will preserve any entered items. This is a big privacy risk, as it reveals exactly the items the user might want to remove from the timeline. There should be an option to either turn off the dropdown history, or clear the saved list of items at any time.
This would be probably a minor task to accomplish, and would result in a great increase in privacy.12 votesAdded in v4.6.3

disabling the delete feature with password
only enabling deleting entries etc with a password?
Basically, what im trying to achieve by this is accountability - so i dont want the employees being able to delete their logs - or even just disabling the delete feature with a password?
6 votesDelete can be disabled on ManicTime Server, under Administration, Client settings.

Custom Naming / Tagging for screenshots within a project
It would be great, if I could be able to group screenshots based on the projects that are opened. I often switch Projects in Cinema 4d and I would like to be able to make a timelapse video based on a single project.

off the record
I love the go off the record until tomorrow.
Could you add a setting for "what time" tomorrow starts?
3 votesIn settings, General, set Shift day start by (hours). That will also affect the Pause until tomorrow.

manual tagging should override auto-tags
Currently, the manual tag will be copied over to auto-tag (by setting), and count in the timesheet, but it will also count the auto-tag, which cannot be removed. This in turn leads to potentially more than 24 hours per day on the timesheet, which is quite wrong.
Auto-tag should be automatically overridden by manual tag, or at least be removable individually.
3 votesIn autotag settings, there is also a setting, When first autotag is matched, skip the rest.
This will ensure that time is never double tagged and manual autotags will always win.

Tag overrides other descriptions?
Is there any way to see, when you are inside a tag, which aplication/document it refers to?
I have taken for example this violet tag but and there are many aplications/documents I move to this tag but I cannot identify them here.
Thank you
1 voteFirst double click on zoom timeline to enable auto zoom.
Then go to Timesheet, make a timesheet filtered to this tag, then usage report will show a summary of used applications

First time use is a bit daunting. So much information - it is like a three ring circus. A "user guide" would be welcome.
I hope that my Settings - tracking options will de-clutter the time line and allow me to learn the program. A good guide would be to set the program to only tracking 1 thing, for example Word. The capacity of this program will be needed by Microsoft Office users now that the Journal has been reduced in functionality.
1 voteThe docs are here:
It probably helps if you think about that it does. It just tracks which applications you've used and for how long.

Document support on MacOs
It seems the tracker only takes websites into account on the MacOs tracker. I use Word, Sublime Text, Adobe CC, none of the files they open seems to appear in the Document Timeline. That makes it near impossible to have AutoTags3 votes -

Grasshopper for Rhino 3D document tracking
I have had Manictime for about a year now and I just realized that the document time for Rhino3D does not include the working time while I am in the Grasshopper window, this is totally necessary for the time tracking to meet my needs as I spend a significant portion of my computer time in the grasshopper environment.

Improvement of Help
It would be great to find all features of ManicTime in the help ages/knowledgebase. Today I searched for the description of "Pomodoro" amd "Timer". I entered it in the "Search"-field but
I found no reasonable description of the functionality among the proposed pages. It wasn't until I did a search in the Internet browser that I was shown a page listing new features for an older version of the program. There the functionality was described. Can't you extend your help pages directly with such things?1 voteWe usually write all features in release notes, but then do not update the help. Which, of course, we should and will from now on.
We have added and updated a lot of topics, pomodoro and timer are described here
http://support.manictime.com/knowledgebase/articles/1888378-timer-and-pomodoro-timerIf there are more topics which are missing or badly described open a new issue and we will update them.
