Complete search functionality for tags
The way I enter in notes to tags would allow me to do a search to find out how many tagged entries I've made based on certain keywords and properties. However, ManicTime is missing a search functionality for this. The current search only seems to allow for searching the date you are viewing on the timeline, and the Statistics tab in ManicTime does not have a keyword search function (where it would tally up and calculate everything that met the criteria).
I would like to be able to search for certain keywords over the past 3 months to see how…

Secondary tag timeline
i would like to see an option to add a second tag timeline to the main screen. when adding a tag by selecting a timeframe, there should be an option in the menu "add [secondary tag customized label]" below "add tag" option. potential use cases are:
* tracking your mood separately from activities
* keeping a sepcific project on a separate timeline
* tracking your location (using tags such as "home", "work", "bus") independently of activities
* tracking your company (alone / co-workers / with partner, what have you)
... and countless others.this would make manictime more customizable.

Windows 10 Support for Multiple Desktops
I'm starting to implement the new "Desktops" feature of Windows 10 and splitting my workspaces to segment between the different desktops.
It appears that Maniac time can only track the desktop that it's currently tied to. This might be more of an OS thing as I realize that other applications are not aware of the same app that's open on another desktop either.

Commit Messages Timeline ( SVN & Git )
I would love it if manictime could create a timeline from commit messages in source control systems.
Personally I would like SVN and Git timelines.

Add Ability to Specify Tag Beginning... Now.
Ideally I could hit a button to define what Im working on starting right then (eg Project A), and then hit the button a time later when I switch to something else (eg Project B) and so on with projects and lunch etc so that at the end of the day a complete profile would exist based on the projects I specified I was working on.

Highlight entries in time sheet
How about a feature in which we could highlight particular entries in timesheets/reports, and keep those highlighted so that when I click on "generate report" it already has those entries highlighted from last time.

Total in Top Tags Statistics view
I'd like to see a total in the Top Tags Statistic view exactly like how the Day view does. As a salary employee it will let me know if I've made my 40 hours of work for the week.

Stacked Bar Chart
I just started using manic time and I'm really enjoying it. I'd like to be able to create a stacked bar chart to give a better visual representation of my day.

detect activity of programs
Some jobs require rendering or export session, during this time the program still working on the project even if i dont move the mouse, but Manic time register as "away". It would be nice if the tracking remain active during the programs activities.

clipboard tracking
To speed up tagging time with notes and to have another tool to see what I was doing, it would be nice to have a timeline that is tracking what was in the clipboard. Then it would be nice to be able to access what was in the clipboard during a time being tagged, so that as I am entering in notes for the time tagged I can paste items that were in the clipboard.
To give you my real case scenario. I'm an IT service provider that bills by the hour. I see error messages, run commands, and go…

Vertical Timeline for Side of Screen
I think it would be really cool if the timeline could be represented vertically. This way, I could keep the MT window up on my screen at all times as a thin window on the sides. Think something along the lines using Windows Snap to split your screen, then making the ManicTime window very narrow. See screenshot. Like that, only timelines are vetical. Yeah. =)

I have 8 timelines and some of them are not important or empty. Idea is on dropdown for timeline \/ allow some additional options like:
1. shrink height or dissapear if necessary
2. auto-hide if empty
3. priority - always show
Also, font should adjust if resized.1 votenot enough support

Stop watch
Could you add a little desktop window (floating) that could be displayed as permanent window on the desktop. The additional window shall display a selectable number of tags in a list (preferable those that are already pinned).
When someone clicks an list item representing a tagged time it starts the stop watch, if i click again it stops the stop watch and inserts the expired time with the tag clicked. Using this method some clicks that i currently need to do to start the stop watch via task menu.1 votenot enough votes

If you forgot to name the working file/document
Add the ability to rename the selected files.
For example, I spent the whole day working in Photoshop, but forgot to call the document (by default it is called Untitled-1).
I choose the right panel Untitled-1 line, click the right mouse button and click renames all Untitled-1 by desired mask.It would be very convenient, I think.
