  1. Ability to delete Screenshots through the timeline option menu

    Could you also add the option to delete the Screenshots through the context menu?

    You already let me highlight a segment of time and then right click to delete: Tags, Computer Usage, Applications, Documents, and ALL. I know I can go to the folder where the screenshots are saved but that is quite time consuming.

    Why do I want this? I often work on sensitive information but still want ManicTime to track my time on different projects. Screen capture is incredibly helpful for auditing my day but some of the data throughout the day needs to be protected. I'd like…

  2. Dealing with universam Apps

    Thank you guys...Manic Time has made my time tracking so much easier...awesome work.
    Somehow it seams to struggle with detecting activity or filter processes for Apps from the Windows store under Windows 10, but that doesn't worry me to much (for instance filtering Netflix App). As a software eng. I can understand the pity of dealing with the new Universal App's.... Big bravo to the developers team...

    There are only 10 last used tags in context menu for adding label (by right click). Please increase this number (up to 20) or make it customizable.

  4. Show domain instead of page when web browsing

    As an example, my activity log has 25 lines of 5-10 seconds each duration from my looking through the ManicTime help just now. Each new page I looked at created a new line. It would be far more useful data if it could combine those into a domain listing. As another example, all the time I spent on NYtimes.com would show on one line, rather than a different line for each article. I know I can switch it to combine all my MS Edge time, but that is too high level. Thanks for considering the idea.

  5. Add hyperlink: click date in timesheet to take you to the day

    Thank you for allowing us to request features and vote on them.

    My request: When we generate timesheet reports, we may have neglected to enter enough notes for billing or would like to see what else we worked on that day to make sure it was properly tagged. If the date or column was hyperlinked to take us back to the Day tab and to the specific day in question, it would save us the time of having to remember and locate the day.

    I can see screenshots for many apps but nothing for google chrome. I would like to see a screenshot of what I was browsing. At least I wish I'd have the full link to those pages.

  7. Timestamp over screenshot or timeline showing screenshot position

    Sometimes I look into screenshots of my work in the past and then, while screenshot is opened in viewer (opened with F11) I just press left-righ and screenshots are rotating. When I found what I was looking for there is no timestamp visible and I have no clue what is the time of current screenhot....

  8. Timesheet - Month Report Group by Week or add a Week hours total.

    When looking at the TimeSheet month date range, I would like to have the weekly work hours shown as a total by either grouping them by week or then add a sum that totals all weekly hours used by tag.

  9. Reporting needs lots of improvements

    The current method of reporting where each date is a column is really cumbersome. Can we get an option to make one row per date instead? Then the whole report would only be a few columns wide, rather than growing by both columns and rows.

  11. Ability to mark more than one tag at a time as billable

    Currently each tag must be marked individually and then set as billable. However, the UI does allow you to select more than one tag at a time. When I select multiple tags and use "set billable" would like all tags to be marked as billable.

  12. Improvement of Help

    It would be great to find all features of ManicTime in the help ages/knowledgebase. Today I searched for the description of "Pomodoro" amd "Timer". I entered it in the "Search"-field but
    I found no reasonable description of the functionality among the proposed pages. It wasn't until I did a search in the Internet browser that I was shown a page listing new features for an older version of the program. There the functionality was described. Can't you extend your help pages directly with such things?

  13. First time use is a bit daunting. So much information - it is like a three ring circus. A "user guide" would be welcome.

    I hope that my Settings - tracking options will de-clutter the time line and allow me to learn the program. A good guide would be to set the program to only tracking 1 thing, for example Word. The capacity of this program will be needed by Microsoft Office users now that the Journal has been reduced in functionality.

    Is there any way to see, when you are inside a tag, which aplication/document it refers to?

    I have taken for example this violet tag but and there are many aplications/documents I move to this tag but I cannot identify them here.

    i want to set goals for the apps that i use .... for example

    chrome >>> 2 hours per day

    and when i use chrome for 2 hours , manic time send me a notification for that to stop using it

  16. Custom Naming / Tagging for screenshots within a project

    It would be great, if I could be able to group screenshots based on the projects that are opened. I often switch Projects in Cinema 4d and I would like to be able to make a timelapse video based on a single project.

  17. Selective Server Sync (Employee Privacy enhancement)

    Currently an employee, working from home, tags all their time in ManicTime. But its currently an all or nothing approach when it comes to syncing to the server.

    Instead .. have an indicator bar on the top of the timelines that shows which segments are to be sync'd to the Server ... an employee selects time on any timeline .. right-clicks and chooses "Submit to Server" .. then that time segment is sync'd to the server based on the server settings of 'what to sync" (E.g. sync everything or specific timelines)

    This allows employees to keep track of their time…

    You can do this now, when you connect to the server you can choose which timelines you want to share.

    You can also select this for all connected clients in Administration, Client settings.

  19. All child windows to be grouped under the parent application

    In my firm, we use software that creates child windows that take up a serious amount of time during work hours. Unfortunately, manictime just shows them with the window_name (eg. Options, settings etc) that has no value to the manager.

    It would be absolutely wonderful if all these child windows could be group under a single parent app and the time shown would correspond to the total time spent to the parent application.

  20. Add Display Setting for First day of Week - Sunday, or Monday

    I do a lot of work with systems that are Europe based and all of them have weeks start on Monday and end on Sunday (Which I rather like... The weekend, is the weekend, not the week book ends)
    Without this capability I'm always fighting the Timesheet and can't use "Previous Week", for example. I always have to use a Custom and set the begin/end dates. I first looked for that feature in Settings -> Display. I don't know if there is a better place.
