As of now, MS Teams does not share data about calls, so there is not way to add this feature.

This may be crazy, but how bout a gradient for tag combinations?

Ok How about this: on the 'how is color chosen' dialog, perhaps next to the sub-tag you have the option to use different shades of the parent tag, so all my client X tags are red-ish, and all my client Y tags are blue-ish. (I would like this as the default behaviour, which you can over-ride if you wish)

alternatively set the default colour skipping behaviour (there's a couple of projects I'd like to use the first level tag, but most I want the second level tag)

perhaps an optional separate timeline?

* It should say "2 bands of colour (on two sub timelines)" for the example tag. (I guess 3 should work the same way :-)

Hmm, Having this sub-totals feature would probably mean I don't need this one:

Yes "Sum of Selected" is definitely more flexible, I think it will as-you-say help with other tasks I need to complete. I will be pretty happy with that :-)
That will push this suggestion way down my wish-priority list, but probably not off the bottom.
P.S. Manic Time is awesome, love your work!

I have SVN bug tracking integration into JIRA, so jira tickets numers are in a standard format and could generate auto-tags.

You could have a scenario where you want to make all tags which come from (or match) the jira tag source to be billable. (Full disclosure: billable isn't something I use, since billability is determined in the downstream timesheet app, not in manictime)

NB: this suggestion relates to this one:
http://support.manictime.com/forums/222041-feature-requests/suggestions/13879599-sub-totals-for-same-tagAn error occurred while saving the comment Murray Roke commented
Another solution to the same problem could be to have the Timesheet interactive, in that if I group by level1 tag, I would like to click a level 1 tag and get a breakdown of level 2 tag times, (recursively to all level tags I guess :-)

Awesome Idea, I'd definitely use this!

I'd like to see something in this area, perhaps bands aren't the right mechanism, I'd be pretty happy with the idea in one of my earlier comments... Have the option to use different shades of the parent tag so for example, all sub-tags of a particular tag are 'red-ish'
