Auto-clear filter when lower-left-window is cleared (all items tagged)
In the Day view, if I filter by an application (double-click in the lower-right window).
Then in the lower-left window I clear all the issues by assigning them to tags, I want the filter to clear automatically and go back to the full application view again. You could make this an option if someone didn't want it to happen.
I must waste several minutes per day either going down to the filter box and clearing, or clicking to another timeline and back again to clear it. I can't see any reason why I'd want the filter to remain especially if…3 votesNot enough votes.

silence pop ups
I often am sharing my screen for presentations. I've set up the pop-ups to confirm what you're working on. During presentations, it would be great to be able to suppress pop ups for a period of time (1/2 hour increments) rather than have to turn off pop ups then re-enable.
3 votesYou can silence pop ups in system settings so this will not be implemented.

add file path to file reports & group by tag(s)
First... I LOVE YOUR PROGRAM! Thanks. :)
Here's something that would make it even cooler...
I would like to be able to analyze sub-tasks related to the individual fils I'm working on. Files often have the same naming structure so the reports don't show which project it was part of. If files are grouped and reported with the path or could be grouped by the tags I could analyze which files were being worked on for how long on a project. This would be too difficult to tag manually because I may be working between many files for short periods…

in the add tags window, show tags hierarchy and last used tags in separate tabs in the same window
When tagging, the "Add tags" window always shows the list of last used tags, and a button to access the hierarchical view in yet another window.
I always use the tags hierarchy. It would be much more convenient if, for instance, the list of last used tags and the hierarchy were under different tabs on the right side of the window, and the last tab used was memorized from one call to the next.3 votesNot enough votes.

Custom day start and end times
I often stay awake doing stuff past midnight, but I'd still like to class my activities as being within the previous day; whatever they be.
I'd find it useful if "day" tracking ends when my computer shuts down or something; or when I click a button to specify that the day is over.

Show additional timeline bar for alternate time zone (just like in Outlook Calendar)
This is in reference to the timeline bar in the Day view of the ManicTime UI. It would be quite handy to add a second timeline bar showing the time for a different time zone (similar to how Microsoft Outlook displays).

Prevent the Escape key from closing the Notes window
I accidentally hit escape when typing my notes on occasion and it stinks because I write quite long notes at times.
This is more common for me because I type in Colemak and my "caps lock" key is an escape key.
3 votesThere is not much support for this one. I don't think it is a good idea since it breaks the classic Windows Esc closes window...

Visual Indicator for Gaps in Time During Day
Please add a visual indicator for where there are gaps in time during a day greater than a certain amount of time (say 5 to 15 minutes) and allow the addition of a tag for that time.

Add functionnal keyboard support
So far the app is absolutely mouse-dependant. Those little tick boxes are nearly impossible to click with a touchscreen and there doesn't seem to be a way to toggle them with the keyboard. Hence the app is unconvenient to use without a mouse such as with a laptop or tablet. I would expect to be able to switch between the Timeline, the Details and the Summary panels using TAB, and to be able to toggle individual items in the Details and Summary using SPACEBAR
3 votesUsing Ctrl + Tab you will be able to navigate between the Day, Untagged time, Timesheet and Statistics tabs and with focus on different elements (accessed with Tab) you can do a lot with arrows. Since there aren't enough votes nothing additional will be implemented for now.

Customise export formatting
Customise how ManicTime can export time entries (or timesheets), by being able to add fields and separators.
For example, to export time into Carpe Diem Web, the format required is: Tags and narrations in double-quotation marks, and time in decimal hours shown with the word "hour" after.
In this case, the ManicTime user could go into ManicTime's Settings, and set up the formatting for exporting to the clipboard as:
Time (decimal)
Text: " hour ""
Tag1
Text: " "
Notes
Text """ManicTime users who use other similar time-entry software can customise their export options to suite their system.

Function to distinguish 2 programs that share the same .exe name?
I don't know where to ask this so might as well do it here.
I have 2 video games that use the same engine, so when I launched them they both have the same name (ex: engine.exe) but they both have different title name of course. The application tracker treats them as the same thing and lump their hours up together. Is there a way to separate them somehow?3 votesYou could use autotags like Alexander suggested.
ManicTime used to work this way, we used whole path to distinguish apps, but then the problem was then when for example new Firefox came, and it was in a different folder it created a different entry, so you were stuck with two Firefoxes for example. Then we decided to just use the executable for apps and it came in handy on the server as well, where you can it shows a single Firefox from multiple machines.
If this gets some more support, we might add some way where you could tell ManicTime to make an exception for specific apps.

Multiple monitors registrations
It will be usefull, in a muli-monitor enviroment, to have a timeline for every monitor.
Sometime I see that the product register Outlook for long time, only because I was working on the other monitor.
Have a timeline for every monitor will be usefull3 votesManicTime will only track active application, not all applications running.
You can set screenshots to capture all desktops at one if that maybe helps.

Please add ctrl+A screenshot to select entire day in timeline
Once I finished tracking all periods in a day, I like to select all the rest and assign a generic non-billable task, so I know that the entire day is accounted for. This would make that task much faster.
3 votesNot enough votes. There is also a workaround that doesn't require much time or work, simply set selections to "Select only untagged activities" (the dropdown is next to the "Add tag" button, in older versions this isn't in a dropdown but position is the same), click on any timeline that has activities over the entire tracked period (usually the Computer usage or Applications timelines), and select all activities in the activity list on the bottom left (the checkbox in the header checks out all checkboxes in the list). At most this is a 3-step process, for some in may even be shorter depending on your usual work flow.

Comparing Estimated time with actual time
Estimated time for a project/task is often different from the actual time spent. It would be great if there's a feature that showed the difference
