Tagging by Folder (File Location)
Would be great to Filter/Autotag based on the location of a file.
For exampe:
Every file which is opened and located in folder D:\Projects\P105K8
can be filtered and tagged.
You can already do all of this. You can write D:\Projects\P105K8 in filter in Documents timeline, then click on down arrow on the right side and Add to autotag. A normal Add to autotag also has an option to just use folder.

Try a more generic rule. For example one that just filters on the project number and not on the whole path. I would expect that to catch a lot more as I'm guessing that the reason some are passing through is that they do not show the full path.Another trick - though it involves a modification of your work flow but one I think is incredibly useful - is to put the project number in every filename and email that you work on that is project related.
We started doing this about 2 years ago (before we started with MT) and found it to be a HUGE bonus in terms of filing, searching, finding misplaced or miscategorized files/emails/whatever and just a general sense of tidiness and organization.
We chose to use curly brackets {} to enclose our project numbers. Our numbers are a bit different from yours using 2 digit year the project started and a four digit incremental so a project number might be
17-0001
and a file name might be
{17-0001} Customer X Proposal Package.Rev 0.pdf.
This has helped us in many ways and is now proving helpful for MT as well.

Thanks, but it seems that it only works for a few applications. (in my case only one..) The unfiltered documents show a lot more files coming from that folder. appreciate any advice.
