Connect other Apps with IFTTT and/or Zapier
Integration of ManicTime into IFTTT (300+ Apps!) and/or Zapier (500+ Apps!) via API would be a huge extension. No product specific plugin needed...
Zapier plugin is available for testing. It can be used for exporting tags to other services.
To use it, you need to have ManicTime Server 3.8+ version installed.
You can use the plugin here

Is IFTTT up? I am working on connecting my ios phone call logs to my timeline so this would be a workaround for me.

We have connected ManicTime to Zapier, using the API in ManicTime server.
We use this to update the tag list, and export tagged times.
If anybody is interested in getting this set up, we offer paid consulting.

let's not forget Integromat. They're way cheaper and more flexible than Zapier.

Connect ManicTime with IFTTT is great idea. I will use it if it will exist.

I'd like to add that this would be a fantastic feature.
I, for example, would like to log every time I've manually added a tag on the timeline for the current day (so I can track my 'proactive' tagging which is a habit I'd like to encourage) and tie it in with beeminder so I have an immediate financial incentive to do so :)
Another benefit, it's free advertising. For example, a beeminder user who may have never heard of Manictime may see my Beeminder <-- --> Manictime recipe and in the process learn of Manictime and become a new user.
There are nearly endless new real-world things that could potentially be logged to a timeline automatically rather than by hand with these types of integrations as well.

I'm not sure what specific integration you all are seeking but I'll throw this out there as suggestion:
MT has a documented API. Depending on what you want to integrate (ie MT as the trigger or MT as the endpoint) it should be fairly trivial to see if the API supports what you want to do. I know Zapier for sure allows to build custom zaps that can talk to a web service (MT server) so shouldn't be too hard to build a custom zap or maybe hire a freelance programmer from some of the many sites to build for you. Depending on how important it is, I wouldn't expect it to be all that expensive to build a handful of zaps. A decent programmer could prbably in an hour or two.
Anyway, just thought I'd put it out there as a suggestion since if it's important to you it's something you might be able to make happen today w/o waiting on the MT developer to get around to it.

Actually could you not use the Outlook plugin to do some kind of polling? So ie if there was a folder MANICTIME and we could use IFTTT to send emails that got collected in that folder and were processed by manic time.
Taking it a step further manictime could fire an email off trigerring an IFTTT event in future too.

This would be amazing, might there be some limitations due to the local "nature" of timemanic currently, though? Anyways, this would be, as you said, HUGE!!
I would throw 500 votes on the vote button if i could, please implement this. I believe it would be both beneficial to current users and also benefit the developer due to more exposure among these automation tools.
Thanks.
