Google Maps Timeline Plugin
A "Google Maps Timeline" plugin would be very practical. So I do not only see what I have done on my laptop, I also know where I was at that time. Also when I have no other timeline (Laptop is off) I can see later that I was travelling. This gives me a better idea what I have done the whole day.

That would be great, but Google timeline is sadly not accessible to external applications

Can we rekindle this idea? for Google timeline a user can extract xml data (.kml file), using a web call. With this, you can easily generate time entries for "Travel" which could include location to/from and miles traveled. I do this programmatically using a url contruct for a given day of https://www.google.com/maps/timeline/kml?authuser=0&pb=!1m8!1m3!1iYYYY!2iM!3iD!2m3!1iYYYY!2iM!3iD, and then read the xml data returned
