Go off the record until configured time
I work different shift patterns and use the computer for personal as well as business. I'd like the ability to go off record until a pre-configured time, i.e. until I start work the following day. My PC usage often goes past midnight, so go off record until tomorrow doesn't work. I'd like the ability to set a default go on record time within configuration, then within the system tray icon "Go of record until" menu have a 5th option called "Until xx:xx" where xx:xx is the pre-configured time.
I'd also like a 6th menu option called something like "Until ??:??". A dialog popup would then ask the user to select a time. Most weeks the 5th option above would be great, but some weeks I'm on call etc, so get home at random times with 11 hours between shifts. So being able to enter a custom time on the fly would be great.
Go off the record until tomorrow will work with Time shift. So if you set time shift to 5am, then MT will start tracking at 5 am and you can use "Until tomorrow".

If you really want a specific (different) time every day then you will stiil need to have this feature implemented.
However, I found that the "Go off record until Tomorrow" can work if you play with the settings a bit (note: I do use the paid version of MT):
Go to the Settings screen and make sure you are in the General category. There's a setting there called "Shift day start by (hours)". If you never start before 7 AM then you can put it on "7".
The day view will now start at 7 AM and end at 6:59 AM, and the "Tomorrow" functionality will know about this.
See this Knowledge Base article for more info:
http://support.manictime.com/knowledgebase/articles/686142-settings-day-start-shiftAlso note that a custom "Tracking schedule" might be interesting if you know that you'll never work past a certain hour. This can be set if you go to the "Tracking" category, enable the checkbox of the "Tracking schedule" option, then click the small "Edit" link.
This way, if you leave your PC on then ManicTime will automatically go off the record at a specific hour. If you do cross that point when working then obviously nothing will be recorded and your time will be lost, but that is the tradeoff.
