Copying and merging DB of day time sheet
With Covid-19 lockdowns, I have been working on my machine at home. Is there is simple way to extract the data base information for the daily sheets into a file that I can carry into my work, and merge with my main machine's data? Neither machine will be "on" unless the other is "off". I don't think that the "server" solution will help me. The KB articles suggest that the data is not combined when it is transferred. It suggests if transfer is used, the existing data will be over-written.
What you could do is backup on one machine, sync via dropbox or similar and restore on the other.
But you would have to do this each time you move.
And as mentioned, cloud or MT Server would also help.

Are you quite sure the Server won't help? I use 3 different computers in two physical locations and use Server to make all three timelines appear together on my ManicTime screen. I was scared about setting it up and avoided it for a long time, but I wish I had done it earlier. It works great!
If you don't want to set it up yourself you could also use the Cloud service that ManicTime offers.
