Custom title: Easier creation / sharing and application to past data (of limited range, e.g. past 7 days)
It would be great if the CustomTitle.txt feature would get a community source so that not every user has to re-invent the wheel and has to write a regex for every application.
Similar to the plugin management, a searchable online repository that can be used to add lines to CustomTitle.txt would be great, with an online suggestion feature to add new entries.
Please also keep the plaintext file and openness of this feature even with this addition.Similarly, it would be great to apply new CustomTitle.txt document/application regex rules to the recorded data of the past 7 days.

Extend/Shring start/end of a selected tag using keyboard shortcuts.
When selecting a tag on timeline, If I need to extend/shrink its start/end to a specific point in time, the normal way to do this is to mouse drag the start/end edge to the desired point on the timeline.It would be more easier and efficient if there exist the following keyboard shortcuts:
- keyboard shortcut to move (extend/shrink) the selected tag's start edge to the current mouse's position on the timeline and another one for the end edge.

ability to fill previous document timeline after loading new tracker plugin (by clicking a button or something like that)
for example, i wrote a plugin for Autodesk Motionbuilder, the ProcessName is 'motionbuilder', and the Application Name showed in ManicTime is 'Autodesk Motionbuilder'.
when i click a button, manictime let me select a tracker plugin and an Application. then search the recorded Application infos, apply the string split rules to and get Document info. finally fill them into previous Document timeline3 votesNot enough votes.

screenshot push only from specific site/workplace to save bandwidth
The goal is to make screenshot upload only happen manually (when I click send now button) while I am remote. But as soon as I get back to the office screenshots can upload immediately without user interaction as usual.
When running on limited data this would be a useful feauture and would allow using core features without screenshot when required.
I am using the linux client primarily - if that makes a difference.

Make timers more visual
Visual timers are things we often use as children to learn about time, but they remain useful for many adults.
They are especially recommended to those with time blindness (a common challenge for neurodivergent individuals - especially those with ADHD).
Currently the timer features in Manic Time show only a numeric indicator (like how many minutes and seconds until the current pomodoro session is over. (this is true also when the window is minimised)
Adding an optional/customisable display style for the existing timers would be a great option for everyone, but it can be of immense benefit for those who…

App management
I move all applications into folders and use auto tag (folder="XXX"). It would be nice to move those apps or documents to specified folders in bulk.
In Statistics tab, there is the right opportunity to do so 1) or even add more options for data manipulation other than from the Search or Timeline window 2).3 votesWe are moving away from folders so any feature requests surrounding these will unfortunately be declined.

Option to hide tags and notes in the recent tags list
When I come back from idle I see all my recent tags and notes on the side, but I don't want anyone touching the mouse of my computer to see all my tags and notes. It would be nice to have instead some button to show this list.
3 votesYou can either disable the Away view from showing or you can password protect it (you have to enter a password every time before the Away view is shown). You can do both in the "Privacy and notifications" section of the settings.

Set default for "Go off the record" context menu on tray icon
On Windows, the context menu of ManicTime's tray icon has "Go off the record" with a sub-menu for the desired duration. But if the user clicks on "Go off the record" directly, the default is "Until you turn on".
The best would be to not do anything and force users to make a selection in the sub-menu, but now that it's been like that for a while, the best alternative would be the option to set which timeframe is used.
The number of times I've lost a long period of tracking because of this...

Colour code URLs that differ by port with different colours.
When viewing my document timeline I see all the same colour for various client work, this is because it all occurs on the localhost domain (but each client has a different port) so it would be great if urls that differed by port could also differ by colour.
2 votesIn ManicTime only groups can have different colors and since each domain is it's own group and the port is not a part of the domain this is too complicated to add. But this can be achieved with auto tags where each group can be a domain with port. So we suggest you use auto tags for this.

Magnifying Cursor
While it is relatively easy to 'zoom in' on the timeline to see individual slices, I'd like to have a 'magnifying cursor' UI element, which magnifies the timeline area locally around the cursor to ease selecting a slice, without having to zoom & drag the whole timeline.

Total in Top Tags Statistics view
I'd like to see a total in the Top Tags Statistic view exactly like how the Day view does. As a salary employee it will let me know if I've made my 40 hours of work for the week.

Absorb/Append - Easier Navigation (Alphabetical Tag) List When Assigning Rule
In the absorb/append rule window (Edit Autotag -> Advanced), the tags that can be absorbed or appended are listed in a random order - would it be possible to alphabetize them?

OneNote plugin to track Pages instead of Sections
It's really nice to have a OneNote plugin. I organise using OneNote intensively. My notes are organised in a few major sections and a lot of Pages in each section. The tracker actually takes the section name and not the page name. It would be nice if we had the option to pick either. As a workaround I can always use the App tracking to find my time on each of the Pages because the Pages are displayed in the titlebar. whoever it would be more convenient and quicker to just have them totalled automatically in the Docs section.

Screenshots available in AutoTag timeline
Screenshots are currently limited to Application and Document timelines it seems (this is logical)
When I suspect my rules have incorrectly matched something, there is no way to see the screenshot captured at that point. I think that would be quite useful as a quick mechanism to confirm the auto tag in question

Allow custom date ranges to be stored in statistics tab
Two similar but independent features for the 'Statistics' tab to add custom date ranges:
Allow the user to add new date ranges to the preset dropdown box.
These can be 'fixed' ranges with a start/end date set by the user and a label.
Additionally it would be great if the user could add 'relative' dates like "This week", etc.
This would be helpful for countries with financial years end partway through the year (Eg Australia)
It would also be useful for custom development 'Sprint' periods.Allow each 'statistics tab' to have its own date range that can be saved.

Add Timesheet Date Option: "All to date"
Similar to "Month to date", etc. I would like an option to view all timesheet data which is stored, even going back previous years.
I can set this date manually (with some trial and error I can find the "start" date), but if I save the report with the date range, it will save today as the end date, so I'd always have to remember to update the end date when re-running the report, then re-saving.

periodic poll what your working on
I like the reminder to check what I'm working on. However I find it to be to open. Can ManicTime require a reponse? That way I activaly have to say what I'm working on.
I would like to extend the request and also ask other questions; like whom I have consulted for the thing I'm working on, is it planned work or ad-hoc, is it my main work of a supporting task that I'm working on.
I don't want a long survey, just small questions and hence at a different time interval2 votesClicking on the notification opens the Add tag view. Additional features might be implemented later on.
