Show which type of data will be deleted in confirm screen
Currently when you highlight a timespan in the timeline you get the option to delete a number of things: tags, applications, screenshots, everything, etc. Once you clicked you get a confirmation dialog with title "Delete" and text "Are you sure?".
It would be better if the type of data you're deleting is shown once more in the title of this dialog.
(It's mostly "screenshots" and "delete all" which scare me because they're next to each other in the menu, and I'm not sure the "Undo" function restores screenshots once deleted.)

Thunderbird Lightning timeline similar to Outlook
Add a timeline for Thunderbird Lightning calendars similar as is currently possible with Outlook. The events should be stored in a sqlite database (local.sqlite) so they should be rather easy to extract.

Personal Daily Summary Notes Tag
Adding the functionality to append a tag (that is not counted towards your daily hours) for personal note taking inside the manic time app where you can write your summary of the things you have done/doing for the day while you tag your times in the company.
These daily notes can later be aggregrated into a weekly summary which can be stored, extracted, exported to another app such as Teamwork, MS Word, Notes etc.

"Until next boot" time tracking off option
Often times my usage times are not in one big, continuous chunk, but involve multiple boots. What this means is sometimes, I want to turn off the tracking which I have to do using the "Go Off The Record" option, in which the most appropriate option is "Until you turn on".
When I do this, I MUST turn it back on manually after boot for it to start/continue tracking, which is easy to forget the next day/morning and indeed I have done so :( A simple option that auto tracks on boot could really help.
2 votesOff the record has a couple of option:
- until tomorrow
- for 1 hour
- for 15 minutes
- until I turn it on
What you are suggesting seems the same as if you just exit ManicTime. Next time you start it, it will start tracking.

Add (back) "Last Used" Date/Time to Recent Tags/Notes Lists
In previous versions, I seem to remember in at least one, if not all, of the various tag dialogs and menus showing recent tags (e.g., "What will you work on", "Add tag", "Welcome back! Would you like to tag your away time?", etc.), it would show when we last used each listed tag combination or note (if cursor in the Notes input box). Could you add that back?
(I find it particularly useful for notes because I can't always tell, with my cursor in the Notes input, which notes were previously used with the selected tag combination, and which are…

Grouping of Autotags in Manictime
It will be better if you can add this feature to segment autotags like (category 1, category 2) and under each category there will be several independent autotags. Currently i have 20 autotags and want to group them into 3 category but that is not possible. These are some suggestion how to implement this.
1) In Timesheet: It can be added in timesheet generation and giving an option to group autoatags and it will show total time spent under each category.
2) In Timeline: It can also be displayed in autotag timeline and user will have option whether to show…

Stop watch
Could you add a little desktop window (floating) that could be displayed as permanent window on the desktop. The additional window shall display a selectable number of tags in a list (preferable those that are already pinned).
When someone clicks an list item representing a tagged time it starts the stop watch, if i click again it stops the stop watch and inserts the expired time with the tag clicked. Using this method some clicks that i currently need to do to start the stop watch via task menu.1 votenot enough votes

Vertical Timeline for Side of Screen
I think it would be really cool if the timeline could be represented vertically. This way, I could keep the MT window up on my screen at all times as a thin window on the sides. Think something along the lines using Windows Snap to split your screen, then making the ManicTime window very narrow. See screenshot. Like that, only timelines are vetical. Yeah. =)

clipboard tracking
To speed up tagging time with notes and to have another tool to see what I was doing, it would be nice to have a timeline that is tracking what was in the clipboard. Then it would be nice to be able to access what was in the clipboard during a time being tagged, so that as I am entering in notes for the time tagged I can paste items that were in the clipboard.
To give you my real case scenario. I'm an IT service provider that bills by the hour. I see error messages, run commands, and go…

Some jobs require rendering or export session, during this time the program still working on the project even if i dont move the mouse, but Manic time register as "away". It would be nice if the tracking remain active during the programs activities.

Add labels quicker
It would be nice to add labels quicker. If the labels is in the right click context menu it works fine but if not you need 3-4 clicks.
How about you build a quick search. If I select a time frame in the top and start tipping there could be a quick search / autocomplete. You would click one time, type the label name and press enter. Done!
That little thing would make your tool 10 times better.
Greetings

Add date range for AutoTag
There exists cases where the same tag match has to be autotagged to tow different tags depending on the date.
Let's take the example where I am developing the application A, which initially is intended to be developed for internal purpose, but that after 01/01/2017 some time as consequence of some commercial arrangements it has to be billed to the customer C. In this case, the autotag for the application A should map to tag "Internal Development" until 01/01/2017, and to the tag "Customer C" after 01/01/2017.Please let me know whether this feature is already available or will be…

"Show only tagged activites" for autotags
That would be nice. I'm a lazy developer, so I'd like to set tags for certain activities just once. If I can't see what I already (auto)tagged, I don;t know what I missed.
So basically the "Show only tagged activites", but for autotags

Tagging by Folder (File Location)
Would be great to Filter/Autotag based on the location of a file.
For exampe:Every file which is opened and located in folder D:\Projects\P105K8
can be filtered and tagged.
1 voteYou can already do all of this. You can write D:\Projects\P105K8 in filter in Documents timeline, then click on down arrow on the right side and Add to autotag. A normal Add to autotag also has an option to just use folder.
