I have a feature request ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

  1. Track Google Drive and OneDrive folder path too - Document Timeline

    I use AutoTagging on used file folders on my hard drive. However, from files opened on my synchronized Google Drive and OneDrive etc. the folder isn't tracked. It only shows the file name on the documents timeline.

  3. Commit Messages Timeline ( SVN & Git )

    I would love it if manictime could create a timeline from commit messages in source control systems.

    Personally I would like SVN and Git timelines.

  5. Allow editing or relabeling a tracked activity

    I wanted to change an Away session as Active. I couldn't find any way to change it, only delete it.

    The software would be even more flexible if one could insert/replace session data.

  6. tags

    Need a customization list feature for tags based on 1st, 2nd, third and fourth levels. Eg. 1st level are general and move to specific tasks on lower levels. Also, when tagging, for these tags to be listed in order of level for ease of use.

  8. If you forgot to name the working file/document

    Add the ability to rename the selected files.

    For example, I spent the whole day working in Photoshop, but forgot to call the document (by default it is called Untitled-1).
    I choose the right panel Untitled-1 line, click the right mouse button and click renames all Untitled-1 by desired mask.

    It would be very convenient, I think.

  9. Document Timeline for Nitro PDF

    We use nitro PDF instead of adobe. The applications timeline includes all the file detail but the files I open/read/markup don't appear in my document timeline.

  11. Would really like a screenshot playback like movie option from server to quickly review employee activity

    I'm a consultant, and some of my clients use monitoring software. One of the features they want is the ability to view screenshots like a movie for a given user or workstation from the server. They run random audits where a supervisor comes into the office sits down with management at the server login and quickly runs through a few days of employee activity by watching the "movie" of screen shots.
    Would love to see this in ManicTime Server. If it were added I might be able to sell some clients on this solution.

  12. Ability to Edit Entries and Tags from the Timesheet Window and to be Able to Set Entries as Billable

    I rely greatly on the timesheet window to see what I have completed workwise. It would greatly benefit how I use ManicTime if I was able to edit entries and tags from within the timesheet window and to be able to set entries as billable from the Timesheet window as well

  13. Clicking an entry on the Timesheet will navigate you to that entry on the Day timeline.

    On the TimeSheet when total by 'Day' is selected, I would like to be able to click on a time entry in the timesheet tab and have the application navigate to the first entry on the timeline of the Day tab.

    When I performed this action, ideally the timeline would grey or filter out all other tags and only display the tag I am investigating.

    When I identify an entry in the timeline that needs adjusted it is necessary for me to make a note of that day, the tag of the time entry and use the date control on…

  15. Zoom in on Timesheet view

    It would be nice if I could make the font in the timesheet view larger. Using the scroll wheel would be most intuitive, but + / - buttons would be ok as well.

  16. Track the conversation in Skype

    Skype gets tracked correctly when it is running, however not which conversation it is showing. Ideally MT would show which skype thread is being discussed and track against that project. Currently skype title just says "Skype" which is pretty useless. Is it possible to auto detect the chat that is active?

  18. copy tag

    Automatically copy from autotags to tags at the end of the day with the option to set overwrite, only unfilled time, etc. by default.

  19. Allow Edit Timer Start before you have stopped it

    As a user that forgot to start the timer, I would like to correct the start time at any point rather than wait until the timer is stopped so that my information is more accurate (otherwise I need to write down the start time on a piece of paper so that I can edit it later.)
