I have a feature request ...

  1. Brave Browser

    I just switched to using the Brave Browser because Google Chrome is a resource hog. Brave doesn't show any screenshots in the Professional version of ManicTime.

  2. Allow mid-tag text filtering in add tag window (not just tag picker)

    I have a tag 1:

    Client1: Project A
    Client1: new Project B
    Client3: Cool project C

    and so on.

    However, there are so many projects for that client that they exceed the number displayed in the drop down in the add-tag window. Instead of having to type Client1:C to get Client1:Cool Project C, I'd like to be able to type Cool and have it show anything that contains cool.

    This would match how the tag picker currently wroks.

  3. Ability to change my email on cloud

    There is no option to change my email address in the web interface of manic time server

  4. A bug about recording "Form1.Designer.cs"

    [Bug Report]
    When I edited the "View Designer" in Visual Studio(C#),I noticed that it was "Form1.cs" rather than "Form1.Designer.cs" that was recorded in the "documents timeline" of Manic Time.But in fact,the "View Designer" is editing "Form1.Designer.cs".So the record is wrong.
    By the way,thank you for providing the free version!

  5. Save to Jira | Filter by Tag(s) | Save from filtered Timesheet

    Hi, I am continuing to really appreciate ManicTime application and I use it every single day.

    One thing that I run into that would make life just a little easier is if there was a way to filter the tags that will be included when saving to JIRA.

    This come into play when I need to do milestone or mid-month billing for some clients, but not all. I would then focus on getting all the tags sorted for the one project but not necessary have time to do all the projects.

    In this situation I would want to filter on…

  6. Update plugin samples for version 3.7

    I want to retrieve data from ManicTime using Tag Source plugin & then find some data patterns using Machine Learning.
    Currently this sample doesn't work. Please provide working sample for latest ManicTime.

    Can you place the name tags between double quotes.
    When you use multiple labels Excel cant recognized it.

  8. Disable password popup after coming back from away

    I'd like to disable the password protection popup after becoming active from away. Reason: In a company environment, the program can be used in a rogue-like fashion. Currently the password protection popup prevents the program from truly being hidden.

  9. minimum amount of time before recording

    I'd like to change the minimum amount of time that the application starts recording at. It is currently set at 5 seconds before it records, but id like to change it to 10 seconds before it records.

  10. Advanced Search - Remain Open Option

    The 'Advanced Search' Window should have the option for it to remain open after you select an item it found.

    This would be useful when you are exploring your timeline - looking for a specific event, and are trying to isolate it from a number of search results.

    Currently the window closes and you have to reopen, restart the search and find your context all over again.

  11. Automatic fill in-between tagged acitvities

    I use files and filter tags to categorize my time. after I've done this I'm often left with a lot of small strips of tagged time with a lot of small untagged time in between, as shown in the screenshot. In order to know the full time I spent on the activities I need to manually expand the tags to fill the entire time. It would be nice to have an option when we right-click on a selected area, to automatically expand the tags to fill the in-between untagged time according to the surrounding tag. There could be a treshold…

  12. Add 'Remember selection' option in the dialog 'New tags conflict with existing tags'

    If during the day I copy the autotags to tags multiple times, this dialog pops up and I need to select 'Fill only untagged time'.

    It would be great if the dialog had a checkbox called 'Do not ask again' or something similar which remembers the selected option so next time it automatically picks it.

  13. Auto Tag details

    I'd like to see the details of what makes up my auto tags. I have one called Development that consists of various software I use when developing apps. It would be great if I could filter by that Auto Tag, but still see the data for the individual apps that make up that Auto Tag.

  14. Grasshopper for Rhino 3D document tracking

    I have had Manictime for about a year now and I just realized that the document time for Rhino3D does not include the working time while I am in the Grasshopper window, this is totally necessary for the time tracking to meet my needs as I spend a significant portion of my computer time in the grasshopper environment.

  15. manual tagging should override auto-tags

    Currently, the manual tag will be copied over to auto-tag (by setting), and count in the timesheet, but it will also count the auto-tag, which cannot be removed. This in turn leads to potentially more than 24 hours per day on the timesheet, which is quite wrong.

    Auto-tag should be automatically overridden by manual tag, or at least be removable individually.

  16. Disable website tracking for Mac users

    Our main goal is to track time that's tagged to specific projects and not overall productivity. Therefore we feel like if a user feels we are tracking their website usage then it may erode trust in management.

    With the PC version you can disable or white/black list web tracking.

    However this is not possible with the Mac version. It'd be a great addition.

  18. Document support on MacOs

    Document support on MacOs
    It seems the tracker only takes websites into account on the MacOs tracker. I use Word, Sublime Text, Adobe CC, none of the files they open seems to appear in the Document Timeline. That makes it near impossible to have AutoTags

  20. Periodically Check to See if I am Still Working Is Broken

    This was previously requested and marked as completed. However, the software no longer remembers your "periodically check if I am still working on this" settings. Any update on when this might be fixed?
