    Even if it's calculated on-the-fly it can still be cached. As long as you don't manually delete old entries, or modify a rule the cached data can be kept untouched for older dates.

    Or at least it would be nice if opacity would indicate the state of the event. I have many optional events (so I either decline them or answer maybe) that I don't attend, so I would rather have them differentiated from events that I attended (invite accepted), yet still not totally hidden so if I actually go I still see it.
