  2. Add Timesheet Date Option: "All to date"

Similar to "Month to date", etc. I would like an option to view all timesheet data which is stored, even going back previous years.

I can set this date manually (with some trial and error I can find the "start" date), but if I save the report with the date range, it will save today as the end date, so I'd always have to remember to update the end date when re-running the report, then re-saving.

  3. periodic poll what your working on

I like the reminder to check what I'm working on. However I find it to be to open. Can ManicTime require a reponse? That way I activaly have to say what I'm working on.

I would like to extend the request and also ask other questions; like whom I have consulted for the thing I'm working on, is it planned work or ad-hoc, is it my main work of a supporting task that I'm working on.
I don't want a long survey, just small questions and hence at a different time interval

  4. Show which type of data will be deleted in confirm screen

Currently when you highlight a timespan in the timeline you get the option to delete a number of things: tags, applications, screenshots, everything, etc. Once you clicked you get a confirmation dialog with title "Delete" and text "Are you sure?".

It would be better if the type of data you're deleting is shown once more in the title of this dialog.

(It's mostly "screenshots" and "delete all" which scare me because they're next to each other in the menu, and I'm not sure the "Undo" function restores screenshots once deleted.)

  5. Thunderbird Lightning timeline similar to Outlook

Add a timeline for Thunderbird Lightning calendars similar as is currently possible with Outlook. The events should be stored in a sqlite database (local.sqlite) so they should be rather easy to extract.

  9. easier access to tag editor

Current design: the tag editor is hidden away as the only item of an unnamed drop down menu at the left side edge of the tags timeline, which also means it takes two clicks to get to it. This also leads to a slightly confusing unused vertical area across all tag lines.

Proposed solution: add a tag editor button to the Tags group in the Day ribbon.

  10. Screenshot Database for Security Purposes

I like the screenshot feature for myself to remind myself what I was actually doing at a particular time. But the idea of screenshots so plainly visible to anyone with access to that folder means potential security breach and even compromised PII.

If the screenshots could be saved in a small compressed format that could be saved in a secure database with limited retention like a couple days I think that would be a big help. Typically the screenshots are only useful for me when Im performing end of day tagging and I need to remember what I was doing…

  11. Personal Daily Summary Notes Tag

Adding the functionality to append a tag (that is not counted towards your daily hours) for personal note taking inside the manic time app where you can write your summary of the things you have done/doing for the day while you tag your times in the company.

These daily notes can later be aggregrated into a weekly summary which can be stored, extracted, exported to another app such as Teamwork, MS Word, Notes etc.

  12. Tagging moments of time (milestones)

ManicTime does great job while tagging and logging time periods. It is also necessary to tag and log certain moments of time. That would be for example equivalent of reaching milestones in projects or moments of starting certain things. That would allow not only tracking used net working time but also tracking lead times which might be at times even more important than actual time spent.

  13. "Until next boot" time tracking off option

Often times my usage times are not in one big, continuous chunk, but involve multiple boots. What this means is sometimes, I want to turn off the tracking which I have to do using the "Go Off The Record" option, in which the most appropriate option is "Until you turn on".

When I do this, I MUST turn it back on manually after boot for it to start/continue tracking, which is easy to forget the next day/morning and indeed I have done so :( A simple option that auto tracks on boot could really help.

  14. Add date range for AutoTag

There exists cases where the same tag match has to be autotagged to tow different tags depending on the date.
Let's take the example where I am developing the application A, which initially is intended to be developed for internal purpose, but that after 01/01/2017 some time as consequence of some commercial arrangements it has to be billed to the customer C. In this case, the autotag for the application A should map to tag "Internal Development" until 01/01/2017, and to the tag "Customer C" after 01/01/2017.

Please let me know whether this feature is already available or will be…

  15. nightly

Firefox Nightly works almost always like Firefox, but manictime doesn't know that it's more or less the same. Hopefully the firefox document timeline plugin could recognize "Nightly" and "Firefox Developer Edition" with only a minimal adaptation.

  16. In timesheet view have a column to show tags not used in grouped by

I'd like a column that shows a list of tags not used in the grouped-by clause. (in my case I group by first level tags, so I want to show second level tags and below)

  19. Add (back) "Last Used" Date/Time to Recent Tags/Notes Lists

In previous versions, I seem to remember in at least one, if not all, of the various tag dialogs and menus showing recent tags (e.g., "What will you work on", "Add tag", "Welcome back! Would you like to tag your away time?", etc.), it would show when we last used each listed tag combination or note (if cursor in the Notes input box). Could you add that back?

(I find it particularly useful for notes because I can't always tell, with my cursor in the Notes input, which notes were previously used with the selected tag combination, and which are…

  20. Grouping of Autotags in Manictime

It will be better if you can add this feature to segment autotags like (category 1, category 2) and under each category there will be several independent autotags. Currently i have 20 autotags and want to group them into 3 category but that is not possible. These are some suggestion how to implement this.

    1) In Timesheet: It can be added in timesheet generation and giving an option to group autoatags and it will show total time spent under each category.

    2) In Timeline: It can also be displayed in autotag timeline and user will have option whether to show…
