Split
Split Function for Tag
During the day I sometimes forget to stop a timer when an interruption comes. Rather than having to then re-adjust the time manually by dragging the task creating a new task and adding the new tag it would be nice if I could put a split in a tag which then seperates that tag into two seperate tags. From there I can just drag the second tag start time to where I got back to my original task and add the new Tag for the interruption.1 voteNot enough votes.

Cell phone app to capture cell phone usage as activity
I depend heavily on ManicTime for capturing billable time but for phone calls I often end up missing some billable hours.
I'm very fond of both products/companies so integration between ManicTime and a mobile operator like Ting might be a nice marketing boost to both companies. Further, Ting already has Android and IPhone apps you could piggy-back on. I've sent this suggestion to them as well with a pointer to ManicTime web site.

Arc for iOS location tracking support now that the Moves App has reached EOL status
I was disappointed to learn today that Facebook is discontinuing the Moves App, as I've relied a lot on it to log my on-site service visits. I've found what I consider is a suitable substitute, the Arc App for iOS. I would really like to see support for this.

Enable SSL Support for ManicTime Server on Linux
Please add SSL Support for ManicTime Server on Linux. The current configuration file has a reference to protocol using HTTPS but no way to configure HTTPS with a Certificate.
6 votesWe do offer ManicTime cloud with SSL, as for locally installed servers, this can be done with reverse proxy on Linux and with certificate and through our setup on Windows.

Clicking an entry on the Timesheet will navigate you to that entry on the Day timeline.
On the TimeSheet when total by 'Day' is selected, I would like to be able to click on a time entry in the timesheet tab and have the application navigate to the first entry on the timeline of the Day tab.
When I performed this action, ideally the timeline would grey or filter out all other tags and only display the tag I am investigating.

Thunderbird Lightning timeline similar to Outlook
Add a timeline for Thunderbird Lightning calendars similar as is currently possible with Outlook. The events should be stored in a sqlite database (local.sqlite) so they should be rather easy to extract.

silence pop ups
I often am sharing my screen for presentations. I've set up the pop-ups to confirm what you're working on. During presentations, it would be great to be able to suppress pop ups for a period of time (1/2 hour increments) rather than have to turn off pop ups then re-enable.

Ignore part of the header of an application
Some applications (Adobe apps in particular) change their headers in response to the zoom level of the active document (ex. Indesign can have a header saying "New document 1.indd @ 100%" and "New document 1.indd @ 50%" etc for the same document).
Navigating a document while zooming in and out generates a LOT of entries in the Application view that could have been one single entry.It would be nice to be able to tell ManicTime to ignore certain parts of a header to produce less header spam.

Allow range of hours, not just days
In custom date range selection, allow also to choose the time of day, i.e. yesterday (or other date) between 1-3 pm.

Record screen video when an application runs
Create video recordings for certain applications. For me, I want to record all of my Skype calls automatically (audio and video). Currently I do this manually with SnagIt, but sometimes i forget.

Merge Documents/Application Timelines from different devices
Using multiple devices in my workflow, and having changed computers a few times, I now have multiple Timelines for Application and Documents and it's very cumbersome to calculate how much time I have spend on a specific file/folder. It would be nice to have the option to merge multiple inputs to a single timeline. I understand the risk and/or possibility of concurrency or superposition but having 11 timeline to search through separately make time reporting more difficult.

I use several computers. It would be great if manictime synced so that I only need to check one manictime timeline.

Google Maps Timeline Plugin
A "Google Maps Timeline" plugin would be very practical. So I do not only see what I have done on my laptop, I also know where I was at that time. Also when I have no other timeline (Laptop is off) I can see later that I was travelling. This gives me a better idea what I have done the whole day.

Merge tags / autotags
I'm finding that I have lots of near-duplicate autotags in my system. I would like to clean this up by merging similar autotags, but there's no easy way to do this. Ideal workflow would be something like:
Select two tags.
Click "Merge tags."
Optionally update tag title.
All rules from both tags now appear under the one remaining tag.23 votesThis is already available through the "Replace" feature in the auto tag editor. Just select the two auto tags you want to merge, write the name of the one that is not correct in the "Find" field, write the name of the correct one in the "Replace with" field and after you press ok button of the window a prompt should pop up asking you if you want to merge the two auto tags, just press ok and there will be a single auto tag with all the rules from both previous auto tags. Note that tags (and auto tags) have 3 properties that make them unique, the title, notes and the billable property. It would be great if you could integrate an Let's Encrypt Certificate request/renewal functionality for the ManicTime server so it automatically can use them.

Ability to reorder saved Timesheet reports
My list of Timesheets (in the "Load" drop-down) is getting long and I wish there were a way to manage them better. Ideally, It'd be great if there were grouping options, but at the least, I'd like to be able to change the order of them in the list. Right now it seems that it just orders them by "create date" - with the newest ones at the bottom of the list.
I wondered if perhaps they were stored in a config text file and would be easy to reorder, but I didn't find any, so I guess they are…
