Magnifying Cursor
While it is relatively easy to 'zoom in' on the timeline to see individual slices, I'd like to have a 'magnifying cursor' UI element, which magnifies the timeline area locally around the cursor to ease selecting a slice, without having to zoom & drag the whole timeline.

Sounds like Magnifier app would do the trick?

I wish it was easier to zoom into a block of time - I've forever reducing the day start and finish to zoom in
