The 'Advanced Search' Window should have the option for it to remain open after you select an item it found.

This would be useful when you are exploring your timeline - looking for a specific event, and are trying to isolate it from a number of search results.

Currently the window closes and you have to reopen, restart the search and find your context all over again.
