Track the folders wgere the project files are located
It would be nice if it was possible to track the Folder were the files are located. Most businesess use a folder structure that represents all the projects that are running. This way you only need to track the folder P:\clients\project.. and all files with this string will be tracked for one project.

MT tracks folders for specific applications. There is no way to get project file for any open application, so it is not something we can do for all applications which exist. We can support this for specific applications.

You can do this by creating autolabels based on the directory name. I have my folders ordered by client and project code & name. I created a set of autolabels, with the folder path (containing either the code or name) as criterium, to set apart the time worked per client or project.
