Allow Edit Timer Start before you have stopped it
As a user that forgot to start the timer, I would like to correct the start time at any point rather than wait until the timer is stopped so that my information is more accurate (otherwise I need to write down the start time on a piece of paper so that I can edit it later.)
4 votesnot enough support. I will just add that you can start a timer and at the same time also tag from the start time to now with the same tag.

Better regex help
Add help text, a GUI, or similar to make regular expressions more discoverable and more easily used by users who are not advanced.
4 votesRegex are quite complex and to make a UI of this would be quite a task. I think there are a lot of good resources online for regex help.

Export timesheet to any
Export the timesheet to any web-based time entry application by using web scraping like selenium.http://www.seleniumhq.org
4 votesUnless I mis-understood, this would logon to different services and post the data entries? If this is correct, then it is definitely outside of ManicTime scope.

Zoom in on Timesheet view
It would be nice if I could make the font in the timesheet view larger. Using the scroll wheel would be most intuitive, but + / - buttons would be ok as well.

Allow editing or relabeling a tracked activity
I wanted to change an Away session as Active. I couldn't find any way to change it, only delete it.
The software would be even more flexible if one could insert/replace session data.

Document Timeline for Nitro PDF
We use nitro PDF instead of adobe. The applications timeline includes all the file detail but the files I open/read/markup don't appear in my document timeline.

Analyze Command Frequency in Applications
I use AutoCad extensively and would like to know what commands are used most frequently so that I could optimize my shortcuts. Let me know if you have questions!
4 votesI think this this is outside of scope of ManicTime. Nice idea though.

If you forgot to name the working file/document
Add the ability to rename the selected files.
For example, I spent the whole day working in Photoshop, but forgot to call the document (by default it is called Untitled-1).
I choose the right panel Untitled-1 line, click the right mouse button and click renames all Untitled-1 by desired mask.It would be very convenient, I think.

Stacked Bar Chart
I just started using manic time and I'm really enjoying it. I'd like to be able to create a stacked bar chart to give a better visual representation of my day.

How much I usage each computer monitor/screen
I would like to see how much I use my secondary monitor vs primary monitor for ergonomic reasons. This would help me to change behavior so I use my primary computer screen more.

Exclude window titles from Screenshots
It would be great to be able to exclude window titles from screenshots in addition or instead of process name.
This way I could still reference what kind of task I was doing on a work web site and not collect screenshots of my facebook slacking in the same browser.

Auto-tag based on other tags
For example I google ManicTime and click on the ManicTime website. I can tag the latter activity based on its URL, but how do I tag the former as "ManicTime, ~googling"? Sometime the keyword does not go into the title, so I can't use it to autotag. Both the document and application timelines are the same, so I can't use append tag. The absorb tag just has the same color of the activities in between in the timeline, not a tag that I actually want.
This is also useful when you want an autotag to be prioritized, that is no…
3 votesI don't quite understand the solution. Absorb was added just for this use case, but what you could do instead is make a normal autotag for google, with query part as part of autotag.
Select document timeline, in filter below type:
#"https:\/\/www\.google\.com\/search\?q=([^&]*)"
then click down arrow on the right of filter text box, Add to autotag and for title type:
{{1}}, googling
Then you will get autotags like manictime, googling....

allow single tag to span midnight
Adding tags crossing midnight splits them into two instances of tagged time. I'd like to be able to easily estimate contiguous time spanning the day boundary, but it requires tagging twice and performing arithmetic.

Tag Reminder as New Window
I don't ever really see the little bubble notifications in the corner of the screen reminding me about my current timer, or to tag untagged time.
It would be nice if a new window could pop up, or a sound.
I have two monitors, and I am rarely looking at that bottom corner.

Ability to reorder saved Timesheet reports
My list of Timesheets (in the "Load" drop-down) is getting long and I wish there were a way to manage them better. Ideally, It'd be great if there were grouping options, but at the least, I'd like to be able to change the order of them in the list. Right now it seems that it just orders them by "create date" - with the newest ones at the bottom of the list.
I wondered if perhaps they were stored in a config text file and would be easy to reorder, but I didn't find any, so I guess they are…

Nagging window to remind me of tagging
I need a pop-up window that remindes me every X (~15) min to tag.
And ask me
"Are you still doing <lastTag>?"
[YES] [No] -> select other tagLike the "Away" window, less intrusive but still as persistent.
During daily business, I tend to forget tagging
3 votesI think this is the same as this one.
