Undo should be available at least until the next change is made
V 4.0 added the ability to undo, but it's like chasing a mouse! Miss that few-seconds window & it's gone. There are tons of comments asking for this on the idea where V4.0 is marked as complete, so I think it's not being seen how bad we want this! Please and thank you!

Yeah... CTRL-Z needs to work, and for more than 1 second (never even saw that button)... I often select the space between two tags, then pick the wrong tag. If that bad tag matches one on either side of my time selection (or worse, both!), they get merged and now correcting that mistake is just painful.

I'm glad I found this post. I have wanted an Undo feature for a long time and didn't realize that it had been added in v4.0. I now see how it works. In addition to the OP's suggestion of making it be available longer, can you also make the Undo button work with CTRL+z ? That is my instinctive keystroke to undo an action.

The undo button only appears for a couple seconds after doing something, then disappears. Its very annoying.

I think a "back" shortcode / button would be really helpful. This way I could quickly undo any wrongly made changes. I couldn't find one yet because ctrl + z doesn't work?

I thought there was no Undo function in ManicTime because Ctrl Z does nothing. I just realised there's an Undo button in the top right corner. Please associate the Ctrl Z shortcut to this undo function. It's the universal keyboard shortcut for Undo
