Make the icons solid rather than outlines
Put the icons back so that that on the stopwatch the Stop and Play buttons have solid symbols rather than outlines. They're too small and fuzzy for just an outline. Now I have to stop and really look. The way they were before this release I didn't even think about it. I know which to press. If you still want to have the little circles around them, that's fine. But at least make Play and Stop solid rather than just outlines.

Linux Client Wayland Support / Jetbrains plugin support
I recently upgraded to Fedora 40 which has completely removed X11 support. I can't stand the GNOME desktop so I choose to use KDE Plasma. As stated in the Linux client, due to Wayland security enhancements it's not possible to read the windows which is required for Manictime tracking.
The primary tools that I need to track are Jetbrains products (PHPStorm, PyCharm, CLion, IntelliJ, etc.). I know there is a Manictime plugin for Jetbrains products, but it too doesn't seem to work on Wayland.
It would be nice if the Jetbrains plugin could communicate with the Linux Manictime client for…

Allow regex to match on more than just first line in title
Sometimes, the key information that might be useful to extract via a regex is in the description rather than in the title.
Sometimes, the key information that might be useful to extract via a regex is in the description rather than in the title.
For example in the built-in Computer usage timeline, one can access via Regex whether the computer was active or away this is available via the builtin {{title}} tag.
However that exact same information is generally available via the {{group}} tag.
If one uses say the multi-desktop feature of windows https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/multiple-desktops-in-windows-36f52e38-5b4a-557b-2ff9-e1a60c976434

create folder automatically in document timeline (when the DocumentType is set to Task or something like that in tracker plugin)
i create a tracker plugin and i set the DocumentType to Task.
but ManicTime would not create a Task folder, or put the file into a custom-created Task folder, it just put the file outside any folder.3 votes -
let user combine or merge the document in Document Timeline
when file name is changed manictime tracker would treat them as different docs, which is not tracking friendly in some situation (when i still want to treat them as one file). so it would be better if we can combine or merge document maunually, by right click or something like that

integrate with gpt-4o
I've just tested a CSV export of part of my day in chat gpt and it correctly identified which parts of my day were productive, what software I used and the total time I spent in work. I then asked it to include relevant support tasks, like explorer operations, and it did that too. I found this far quicker than assigning tags or autotags.
I'm not sure what an integration would look like, but a dump to clipboard of csv data of the current day might be a start. The possibilities are amazing, especially if you throw screenshots into the…

A plugin to show ARC browser urls!
I've been using ManicTime for many years; it's a great software. Recently, I switched my browser to Arc and noticed that ManicTime doesn't show the URLs I visit in Arc. A plugin or a native feature for that would be amazing.

Export video timelapse
I'd like to be able to show my clients exactly why I'm billing them for 4 (or 44) hours work. Even if the timelpase option was only available per day this would be great. FFMPEG has done the heavy lifting. All you need is to put the jpegs into an array and send them off to FFMPEG. You'd need to specify an output folder in manic time options and bobs your uncle. I have done this manually but its a faff:
Select only jpegs (not thumbnails). Rename as a sequence, send to video converter.10 votes -
Edit locations from mobile app on desktop client and/or server website. View locations on map.
I would like to edit locations from he mobile app within the desktop app and also view the locations I visited on a map. In general: It would be nice to manage the locations on my desktop or within server website as I can do it in the mobile app. Very useful to check where I was and how long.

would be possible to automatically blur people faces in screenshots, so that the actual faces are never recorded?

autotag abilty to remove screenshots for sensitive classifications
if the use of a banking web site is detected it could be a finance person access a company business account or a staff member accessing their personal bank account at lunch time. there are privacy protection issues and cyber security risks if the screen shots show bank account details.
the idea is that there is an option on the autotag that automatically deletes the screen shot but the url is kept.
similarly, a person that does the payroll may need screenshots deleted that relate to staff pay or personal bank account details.
it would be best if the set…6 votes -
Enable/disable off the record via CLI
Add an option to the new command line interface (mtc) to enable and disable off the record, for automation. Something like

make usage details more powerful - add filter, sort by A then B
Usage details could be so much more powerful if you could filter it in the same way as the timeline. The results of that filter could be turned into a report - without the need to tag.
For example, I tag all my email usage. But there is nowhere to output a spreadsheet grouped by title. Having totals for each group on that table would also be amazing - so you could see instantly that you'd spent 30 mins on one email thread, and 15 minutes on another.

Request for ManicTime Mac Deployment on Vercel
Can the Mac version of ManicTime be deployed on Vercel? Currently, deployment is through Docker, which significantly uses resources. Vercel seems more efficient. Are there any plans to support this?

No backups when on battery
I use ManicTime on my laptop. On the very rare occasion I have had to be mobile with my laptop but the backup runs while on battery power which then causes the battery to deplete faster than I would like. It would be great for ManicTime to detect if it is running on battery or mains and only run the backup when on mains.

Allow browsing screenshots while in "Add tag" dialog
I add notes to tags based on screenshots. As is, when the add tag dialog is open, I can't browse screenshots by hovering. I currently have to put my notes into an editor first, and then copy them into the tag. It would be really nice if the hover-to-show-screenshot feature stayed active while the add tag dialog was open.

Automatic clean after a planned backup
It would be nice if the screens before a certain timestamp are automatically deleted after a planned backup.

Edit (each) day start/end independently of activity
I work remotely. I may be doing work until 3 am, or wake up early and do work from 5am. There's no telling.
Add on to that, I may remote in and check on the next morning's meetings right before bed.
These 3 scenarios (late end, early start, random logins) combined completely mess up the statistics pages.
Shifting the day start time works some of the time, but not others.
What's worse, deleting the activity in the timeline doesn't affect the day starts/ends.
Right now it looks like I'm working 16 and 24h days because of these issues.
I would…

Outlook Subject Line Tracking
I would like to be able to track the outlook emails per the subject line content. Example if I sent or reading an outlook email that the subject line contained "Ninebark" (project name) then I could create a autotag for it. The time spent reading or writing the email.
