ManicTime Server - translations
I would love it, if it ManicTime Server would be available in other languages.
17 votesServer now supports translations. Currently we only offer English and Japanese, we will add more languages soon.
If anybody wishes, they can translate to any language. -

combine timelines from more than one computer for single user
I use a desktop in the office and a laptop when I'm not. I'd like to have the desktop automatically add the laptop timelines, or at least the tags.
14 votesThis can be done with cloud or ManicTime Server

Track Visio Documents
Some applications like Word and Excel track the document names well. Could this functionality be extended to Visio documents as well

Off the record back on after set time
I often forget to turn recording back on. This feature would make it come back on after a selectable number of minutes. Kind of like Rescuetime comes back on after 15 minutes

conditional autotags
If would be incredibly helpful if the autotags could use conditional logic/rules. Some examples are:
I would like to append the autotag 'OvertimeRate' to anything in work tags that are matched between 7pm and 7am so I can bill at different rates.
I would like an autotag only be applied if Tag matching a specific word is not present. This way I will no longer have to spend time checking my timesheet for double billing.
Thank you for the great product.
13 votesWe should talk about each problem separately, but for tags, do this:
Click on tag timeline to select it. In filter below type:
start<7am or start>7pm
This will include all tags for those times. On right side of Filter box, click on down arrow, choose Add to autotag. Create autotag 'OvertimeRate', then in Autotag editor make it into Append tag.

Deleteable filter dropdown history
Currently the search/ history filter dropdown will preserve any entered items. This is a big privacy risk, as it reveals exactly the items the user might want to remove from the timeline. There should be an option to either turn off the dropdown history, or clear the saved list of items at any time.
This would be probably a minor task to accomplish, and would result in a great increase in privacy.12 votesAdded in v4.6.3

Automatic Screenshot Journal
Automatic screenshot journal is still the missing key in ManicTime for me. You should buy TimeSnapper (www.timesnapper.com) and integrate it in ManicTime to make it perfect! ;)

Timesheet remember the previous rounding settings
I always use the following settings in the timesheet: enable rounding, to the near 0.25 minutes and never round to zero. Obviously everyone will prefer different settings, but most likely want to use the same rounding settings each time.
Any chance manic time could remember the most recently used timesheet rounding settings?

Reports including start and end times
ManicTime is the only automatic time tracking program that meets all of my needs, except one. As a Behavior Analyst, I bill Medicaid and other government funded services, which require that I show the start and end times of my service on a spreadsheet. What I have to do is go back and transfer my times into a spreadsheet. ManicTime makes this easier than other services but this still takes time to do so for each client.
I know, given that most time tracking programs don't offer this option, most users only need total hours. Still, I am adding it…
11 votesThis sounds like a timesheet usage report, if I’m wrong we can re-open the issue.

Include tag timeline to overtime/worktime statistic or give the administrator the premission to change user status timeline.
Sometimes people work outside the office for half day and their overtime statistic is wrong.
Somehow the overtime statistic should also look at the tags timeline and the user status timeline to show worktime/overtime.
Or the Administrator should get the premission to change the user status timeline.

"Moves app" timeline should have a link to google maps
The "moves app" timeline really should have an option to open in Google Maps when right-clicking on a location. Right now I have to do a bunch of copying and pasting and trimming to do this.

Asana Integration
Integrate manic time with Asana so time tracking on each project can be uploaded.
10 votesAsana does not have a feature to track working hours, so the plugin only gets projects and tasks from Asana and displays them as tags in ManicTime.

Differentiate between javaw.exe processes
Hi,
A lot of applications are using the JVM these days. It would be great if ManicTime could differentiate between different javaw.exe processes. Currently it clumps them all up to the same program, but they even are different processes. Only the program file name (javaw.exe) is the same. SS: http://i.imgur.com/D0UZoCJ.png
Here is a pointer on how to differentiate the processes in windows - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13288787/get-command-line-of-a-java-process , I do not know .NET though and there might be better ways.
Great tool, thanks a bunch! Am using free, but am planning to buy premium if this works!

Two-factor Authentication (2FA/MFA)
I understand how to blur screenshots, and filter programs/files from being tracked, etc BUT: I can't believe this hasn't been suggested. Since Manictime can collect sensitive data like location tracking through the Android app, and the ability to upload screenshots that could potentially show VERY sensitive data if not blurred/filtered (password managers, plaintext passwords in slack channels and email, banking details, etc, etc, etc), I'd feel a lot more secure if you had 2FA for the cloud app. Every other service does...
Please implement WebAuthn/Yubikey, OTP, and SMS for the luddites.
I'd be more inclined to leave my screenshots unblurred if I…
