  1. Automatic tag rules limited by time

    It would be interesting have the possibility to limit a tag rule to a specific limit of time. Example of use: a common file name used to identify a specific project, but that in the future (or in the past) maight be used for other projects (eg default applications filenames like MS Office).

  2. Option to choose between dedicated tagging screen or standard screen to be opened when clicking on tag reminder

    More often than not, I find the dedicated tagging screen more difficult to use than the standard ManicTime interface. It would be good to provide the user with the option to choose which one displays after clicking on the reminder that pops to ask you to tag the last untagged period of time (this reminder, by the way, is a killer feature from my humble point of view)

  3. Jira Tags - Limit tags available to issues configured, pinned, and used with last # of days

    I am currently using the Jira plugin and it works well with the configuration . However one little point that is annoying is that the history of used tags has grown to be years long. This includes the same tag but with notes. This is great for the same day, same week, maybe even month, but beyond that it becomes unwieldy as the newest, most current, unused tags are placed at the bottom of the tag list. If the tags could be the issues that match the Jira tag configs, plus any pinned tag, and then the history of tags…

  4. Auto-clear filter when lower-left-window is cleared (all items tagged)

    In the Day view, if I filter by an application (double-click in the lower-right window).
    Then in the lower-left window I clear all the issues by assigning them to tags, I want the filter to clear automatically and go back to the full application view again. You could make this an option if someone didn't want it to happen.
    I must waste several minutes per day either going down to the filter box and clearing, or clicking to another timeline and back again to clear it. I can't see any reason why I'd want the filter to remain especially if…

  5. Better JIRA integration and tag display

    The JIRA plugin is really great, but also very slow when there are a lot of projects and issues. And I need to wait ~1 minute to re-scan the tags every time I create a new issue.

    Can it have an option to only scan the projects I subscribed to?

    Also, a lot of times, the issue titles don't fit in the 'tag picker' window, so I'm not sure what I actually clicked on. Please make it resizable!

    Similarly, the 'Add tag' window has a very strange resize behavior, where at the maximum width the 'note' section and the 'tags'…

  6. silence pop ups

    I often am sharing my screen for presentations. I've set up the pop-ups to confirm what you're working on. During presentations, it would be great to be able to suppress pop ups for a period of time (1/2 hour increments) rather than have to turn off pop ups then re-enable.

  7. in the add tags window, show tags hierarchy and last used tags in separate tabs in the same window

    When tagging, the "Add tags" window always shows the list of last used tags, and a button to access the hierarchical view in yet another window.
    I always use the tags hierarchy. It would be much more convenient if, for instance, the list of last used tags and the hierarchy were under different tabs on the right side of the window, and the last tab used was memorized from one call to the next.

  8. Jira Plugind does not show Issues/Tags if the issue is assigned to a Release/Version

    If we assign a issue in Jira to a specific version/release it is not shown in the ManicTime tag selection through the Jira plugin.

    Can you confirm that this is a bug?

  9. Show additional timeline bar for alternate time zone (just like in Outlook Calendar)

    This is in reference to the timeline bar in the Day view of the ManicTime UI. It would be quite handy to add a second timeline bar showing the time for a different time zone (similar to how Microsoft Outlook displays).

  10. Additional scheduling options for email reports

    The email reports feature could be useful with more options for scheduling. Daily for example is conspicuously absent, also days of the week or month. scheduling around pay periods would also be good ie. every 2 weeks

    Iranian people use Solar Hijri calendar:

    Microsoft added it to Windows 10 Calenders'. Please you do it too and let Iranian use ManicTime efficiently.

  13. Add support for Connectwise OnPremise server

    Please add support for self-hosted ConnectWise Manage server. We are currently unable to use plugin because we run a self-hosted ConnectWise Manage server.

    Even though we can't currently use the plugin it was a real bonus to see you added in a CW plugin. I started using ManicTime & others use Toggle to make it easier to find what we were doing when filling out any missing time entries in CW Manage time sheets at the end of the week. Adding support for self-hosted would allow me to get my whole team onboard. Thanks.

  14. Integration to Wrike

    Time integration to Wrike.
    If there's a task in wrike named "Create video for ABC client"
    and we're working with files that named like "ABCvideoproject.prpro"; "ABC production script.docx" etc that manictime would send the time spent on those files to Wrikes time system for that task by looking up for a specific tag in this case "ABC"

    please provide quick access (shortcuts or additional buttons) to the following timeline zoom functions:
    - zoom to selected time
    - zoom to selected item (applciation activity, document activity)
    - reset zoom (zoom out to show entire day)

  16. Colorblind Mode

    I don't know if this is the only instance of this, but colors like this make it impossible for me (and approx. 10% of the population) to use this feature efficiently.

    Offering a colorblind mode, or a way to customize colors when they are used, would be be great.

    I love the new "Untagged Time" tab. I think one small improvement could make it more useful. It is currently based on a percentage of active time, but on days when I am away from my desk or if manic time was not running, it would appear to have been fully tagged for the day when it really wasn't. Feature: could the bars be based on a percent of a set number of hours or have a horizontal line indicating the set number of hours?   18. Application "titles" to be have productive/unproductive setting

    Productive report for applications only has root level "productivity" choosing. It would be great if you could set it fro when drilling down into the application and do the same for application titles.

  19. 2-Way Sync of Tags From ManicTime to Harvest & Vice Versa

    I've been testing saving Tags from ManicTime to the Harvest time tracking service. This is a one-way process from ManicTime to Harvest using the Harvest integration.

    It would be great if there was a 2-way sync so that if time entries are created in Harvest, or edited there, that this is brought into/updated in ManicTime too. This would allow users to employ the Harvest mobile app to capture time when on site as well as capture time on their machines. It also would help avoid duplicate or overlapping time entries.

  20. Copy screenshots to clipboard

    To speed up to process getting a screenshot into a document, email, web or whatever, it would be awesome to not only save and open a screenshot but also copy it direct to the clipboard, from where it can go anywhere
