Grouping of Autotags in Manictime
It will be better if you can add this feature to segment autotags like (category 1, category 2) and under each category there will be several independent autotags. Currently i have 20 autotags and want to group them into 3 category but that is not possible. These are some suggestion how to implement this.
1) In Timesheet: It can be added in timesheet generation and giving an option to group autoatags and it will show total time spent under each category.
2) In Timeline: It can also be displayed in autotag timeline and user will have option whether to show…

Allow editing or relabeling a tracked activity
I wanted to change an Away session as Active. I couldn't find any way to change it, only delete it.
The software would be even more flexible if one could insert/replace session data.

Regularly reminds you to take short breaks for your eyes.
It would be great if ManicTime implemented a regularly reminds for eyes.
When you are working at a computer it is easy to forget about time. This leads to eye strain and other physical problems.
Screen dims and blocking long breaks every hour (displays the timer showing how much time is left before the end of the break and skip button).
Before the beginning of a long break in center of the screen displays a notice - "if you want to start a break? - start / take me 3 minutes/ skip". In "strict mode" such notice does not appear,…50 votesThere are a lot of other apps specialised for this, it would only make ManicTime even more complex.

You could expand your market if you could obtain the US Gov't time keeping certification.
I work for a firm that has to keep time in accordance with US Government contractor rules. I've been told that after much research (recently double checked) that we can only use Oracle's time keeping app. There is apparently only one front end that is certified to work with that tool. I am searching for that name of it.
This would be a huge opportunity for your firm to compete with (then sell out to) Oracle.

Add (back) "Last Used" Date/Time to Recent Tags/Notes Lists
In previous versions, I seem to remember in at least one, if not all, of the various tag dialogs and menus showing recent tags (e.g., "What will you work on", "Add tag", "Welcome back! Would you like to tag your away time?", etc.), it would show when we last used each listed tag combination or note (if cursor in the Notes input box). Could you add that back?
(I find it particularly useful for notes because I can't always tell, with my cursor in the Notes input, which notes were previously used with the selected tag combination, and which are…

Enhancing Tracking schedule: Capture activity if user is active even though outside scheduled timeframe.
Enhancing Tracking schedule: Capture activity if user is active even though outside scheduled timeframe.
This is useful because the user can then track their "normal" daily usage and be prompted when they are away but still capture their "extra" usage which is outside the normal working hours.
An example would be when a crisis occurs.
Normal I work from 9am to 5pm. I want to be prompted when there are time gaps in my day so I have set up a tracking schedule for 9am to 5pm. THIS WORKS PERFECTLY!
However, an emergency has occurred and I am now working…

ManicTime will start tracking immediately, main window (ManicTimeClient.exe) is a different process than the part which does the tracking (ManicTime.exe)

record keyboard activity
As i do reports on a weekly basis and to be more precise on activity tracking , i tend to use manictime & a keylogger combination.
it would be nice to have that feature to be integrated .
the keylogging would have to be toggleable on demand16 votesnot enough votes

a flag in the timeline showing previously billed time
I need the ability to place a flag stating when I last billed. Another way to implement this would be to either add another tag or change the current "billable" tag to "billed."
6 votesI think this should be on some summary, like we have on the invoice in the cloud, not on each tag entry.

Make time slices less than 1 pixel show as one pixel so they don't disappear (where practical)
Sometimes time slices disappear on the timeline because they are too narrow.
I'd like to be able to see them :-)
0 votesThis can’t be done in my opinion. If you imagine all activities as half a pixel, then showing all of them would require twice the amount of pixels.

Tags Groups/Categories
I would like to group some Tags together for some calculations. This could be done either by Grouping Tags to one Aggregating Tag, and thus allowing Tree-Like structure, or by placing Tags to certain Categories (Forest-Like structure).

Split Tagged Category and Add Across Other Tags
I use tags to keep track of time spent on billable projects during the day. I use other tags to track time spent on non-project specific tasks, that are still billable. I would like to be able to automatically split this non-project specific time across all billable projects for the day.

Nagging window to remind me of tagging
I need a pop-up window that remindes me every X (~15) min to tag.
And ask me
"Are you still doing <lastTag>?"
[YES] [No] -> select other tagLike the "Away" window, less intrusive but still as persistent.
During daily business, I tend to forget tagging
3 votesI think this is the same as this one.

Ability to chose the old (non-flat) theme
A non-flat design with less saturated background colors would be really nice
