Expected work days per week (Server)
Hi,
thank you for implementing the individual worktime settings for workhours.
In our company we have employees who work only 2 or 3 days a week. Can you add the possibility to set up the expected workdays per week?
Thank you very much!

Filter shown issues in the ManicTime tagger with JQL (Jira)
First of all: This is an amazing tool! I really appreciate your work.
Currently the Jira plugin configurator allow you to only filter shown issues by Projects and Issue Statuses. Sometimes I want to report time into issues that are not assigned to me, and if I select to show all issues, regardless of assignee, I get hundred thousands of issues. It would be nice if I could instead (or optionally) filter Jira issues with JQL in the Jira plugin setting window. That would offer a lot more freedom to the user to decide what Jira issues should be shown…

Locking my Computer would pause a running timer
When running a timer sometimes i walk off for a cuppa :). Would it be possible that the timer pauses. Otherwise when I come back i have overlapping time.
When I leave my computer I always lock it. So could it be the following;
1. Timer is running
2. Computer locks which pauses timer
3. Return and unlock computer (I get prompted for away time :)
4. Timer continues for previous job or prompts if i wish to continue.5 votes -
Integrate with fitness-tracking apps like Garmin Connect, UA Record, MyFitness Pal, etc.
I would like for ManicTime to go beyond "work tracking" and be my single "life tracking" app. To do so, it would have to gather up data from my various life tracking sources. For instance, I would like to have a view of my running/cycling/swimming training, my calorie consumption, and my sleep history next to my work history to see trends. (Some apps also track "mood"...that might be interesting to see along side work activity!)

Make Jira Tags from the Jira Plugin configurable
Currently I have autotags which can generate tags of the format:
JIRAKEY, #JIRAKEY-999
However these don't match the tags from the plugin which are
Jira Name, #JIRAKEY-999 Description of issue number nine nine nineI would like to be able to specify how tags are formatted like so:
tags: {PROJECT-KEY}, #{ISSUE-KEY}
notes: {PROJECT-NAME}, {ISSUE-NAME}In order for the save work to jira feature to work I'd need to have #{ISSUE-KEY} somewhere in tags, so perhaps a validation warning to that effect would be great.

Integration with Slack
Would like to be able to see what channel I am posting to in Slack application. Right now it just says "Slack" so you don't really know what project that was for.

Timesheet reports - highlight selection and calculate sum in status bar like Excel
This is me being lazy and generating a month report for example and clicking different entries for a total time of those highlighted entries.
After generating any type of report, I can either shift click a start and end point to multiple select or press CTRL and choose a number of different entries. It would be really good the total of this selection was calculated in the status bar, similar to Excel.

track GMail labels
there is an obvious correspondence here
Perhaps there is some API to get the list of tags on the currently displayed thread or mail blotter
If so, then expose those within ManicTime in some way to match on selected ones via AutoTagging rule

Ignore 'all-day' and 'free' events on Google Calendar
I've just configured a Google Calendar timeline, and it's showing 'All-day' events, and events I have marked as 'free'. I'd like the option to hide events based on whether they're all-day, or whether I've said 'yes', 'maybe' or 'no', along with the usual 'busy'/'free'. Ideally I'd like to have only events that are not all-day and I've either said 'yes' to or marked as busy.

Display in UTC
I travel a lot to different time zones and need to change the Windows system clock's time zone when I do. The ManicTime timeline displays in local time (I presume) so as a result I end up with 'overlapping' activities in my timeline. I suspect the labels then also overlap and are not added.
This would all be resolved if ManicTime would record and display in UTC.51 votes -
Cisco PBX call tracking timeline
Record start/end time, number, name or other identifying information on a separate timeline
The Cisco system (and others, I'm guessing) have web portals (and hopefully APIs) for individual users to access their call records from a central place, but those would require authentication to a central system.
I was able to dial my attached phone from within Outlook and from a company web phone directory, a la Skype, though, so there is some sort of mechanism to control the physical phone itself from the desktop. Hopefully this control would also include the ability to read that phone's call log, rather…

Pomodoro Timer steals focus: use system tray pop up as an option
Currently, the pomodoro timer opens a window that steals the focus from the current application.
While this might be good to signal the break, it can also affect current work. Especially when working with graphic or engineering applications where a single command might take several minutes (e.g. using a polygon mask in a graphics program), this might jeopardize the work of the user, making the technique inefficient. Therefore I'd like to suggest to implement an option where a system tray popup is shown instead. When the user clicks the pop up, the window to tag the break is shown (as…

Detect remote desktop connections
It would be nice if ManicTime could detect that a computer is controlled through a remote desktop connection such as through TeamViewer, and give the option to not track that time as active.
I have ManicTime installed on both my home and office computer, and sometimes need to do something on my office computer remotely when I'm at home. In effect, this time gets counted as doubly active, because my home ManicTime client will detect that I'm working in the TeamViewer application, while the office ManicTime client thinks I'm actually on the computer there and working in the local applications.…

Make 'Tag picker' a permanent selection
Instead of display the 'Tag picker' as a modal dialog make it a switchable selection in the 'Add tag' dialog.
The 'Add tag' could display a list of pinned or last used tags.
Below it there could be either a list of all tags/tag combinations or the 'Tag picker'. This selection should be reused, when displaying the 'Add tag' dialog the next time.

Provide a Synology NAS AddOn to allow the server to run from these devices
There are many SMB's running their office tools on their Synology NAS. It would be pretty nice to have the Manic Time Server running on this platform too. MT is just the kind of tool/facility to run from a NAS, providing secure access from everywhere.
