  1. Track which Chrome profile is in use.

I use separate Chrome profiles for work and not-work. When I access a site like, "mail.google.com", I currently can't tell if it's for work or not. Having the added information about the Chrome profile would completely fix this.

  2. Draggable Timeline (middle/right mouse drag)

I find it slightly cumbersome to navigate the timelines within a day.
I know there are currently two ways to do this:
    1. Dragging the window in the fixed line below the timelines
    2. Crtl+Mousewheel

Both are not perfect for me - dragging the timelines (not the orange bar) button would be great.
This could either be triggered by a middle or a right mouse drag, or with SPACE+Left mouse drag (I think Photoshop uses this combination) - but I like the first two better, because the require less action.

  3. Option to not show notes in 'Add tag' window

Every time I want to choose a tag, the previous typed notes are also saved to choose from (see attachment)
I would only like to choose from tags. And then still I would like to use the notes field, but only to be saved for that specific activity.

Under settings, Display, you can choose not to show Notes in 10 recent tags drop down menu, and to not show them in summary in bottom right, but you can't remove them from Add tag window. A similar setting would be helpful in this window too.

  4. Plugin to export to online invoicing service(s)

I'm guessing many of us use ManicTime because we bill customers based on time spent. I'd like to automatically generate online invoices based on ManicTime data.

Personally I'm a fan of Xero.com, though it's possible there are more QuickBooks and Freshbooks users amongst ManicTime users.

  5. Ability to delete old history or option for auto clear

I used the program for more than 2 years and the DB grew strongly (300 MB)
This slows down the program when I open client
How can I delete a history for specified period? Not all DB

  6. Add Plugin for Redmine

Could be interesting to have a plugin for Redmine. Lot of companies are using Redmine as task management tool, including time tracking.

Import assigned tasks as tags from Redmine and export time tracking as spent time to Redmine could be very useful.

  7. Merge tags / autotags

I'm finding that I have lots of near-duplicate autotags in my system. I would like to clean this up by merging similar autotags, but there's no easy way to do this. Ideal workflow would be something like:

    Select two tags.
    Click "Merge tags."
    Optionally update tag title.
All rules from both tags now appear under the one remaining tag.

  9. Horizontal Scroll Wheel Support on Timeline

The horizontal scroll wheel on my mouse does nothing by the looks of it. It would be preferable to have this move the timeline window forward and backwards through the day

  10. IntelliJ/Eclipse

Tracking of open Projects instead of file names when working in IntelliJ or Eclipse so AutoTag can be used on the IDEs.

  11. Merge Documents/Application Timelines from different devices

Using multiple devices in my workflow, and having changed computers a few times, I now have multiple Timelines for Application and Documents and it's very cumbersome to calculate how much time I have spend on a specific file/folder. It would be nice to have the option to merge multiple inputs to a single timeline. I understand the risk and/or possibility of concurrency or superposition but having 11 timeline to search through separately make time reporting more difficult.

  16. Support for ADOBE SUITE + MAXON CINEMA 4D DOCUMENTS

I have tried Manictime, and it meet my needs. But I'm a Designer, I use about all the Adobe CC Suite, and Cinema 4D (well sometime I use Blender too). Unfortunatly Manictime doesn't record such documents, and so I can't filter them. I think that Manictime could meet the interest of lot of designer, if you add such feature. Yhanks very much.

  17. WhatsApp Discussion Thread Visibility

Recently I've found that I'm spending a lot more time in WhatsApp (desktop app) for business reasons, but it's very difficult to tag as one has to examine the screenshot of each entry to determine who the conversation was with.

Would it be possible to build some sort of plugin that would reflect more details about the WhatsApp conversations, maybe who the conversation was with? I realise it's a different beast (I think WhatsApp Desktop is a Modern UI app), but I don't think it's going away.

  18. screenshots from other computers

I can add different timelines from different computers of mine, using the same login on a ManicTime server.
It would be great if it could download the screenshots from the ManicTime server so I can't have to open up the web interface to see screenshots (which I can't even view full screen of.

  19. Undo should be available at least until the next change is made

V 4.0 added the ability to undo, but it's like chasing a mouse! Miss that few-seconds window & it's gone. There are tons of comments asking for this on the idea where V4.0 is marked as complete, so I think it's not being seen how bad we want this! Please and thank you!

  20. Auto ignore auto tags smaller than X seconds

Sometimes, I have several project windows for different customers open at once.
When I switch windows and get the wrong one, I switch again to the right one.
It would be cool if the resulting auto tag could be ignored in the same way as gaps can be filled.

This could either be a global setting or a per-auto-tag setting.

    Thanks!
